Shamrock Shuffle

The Shamrock Shuffle is an eight-kilometer run and five-kilometer fitness walk held annually in Chicago, Illinois and sponsored by Bank of America. Usually held in late March, the 2008 run boasts over 28,000 runners and 2,000 walkers. The event kicks off the running season in Chicago, as it is held just at the beginning of the spring thaw. Other cities sponsor a running event called the Shamrock Shuffle, but Chicago's is the largest.
