Seth Petruzelli

Seth Petruzelli is a mixed martial arts fighter in the EliteXC. On September 4, 2008, he defeated Kimbo Slice in the first round of their bout. Petruzelli was a late replacement for Ken Shamrock, who dropped out from his fight with Slice due to a cut above his eye. Shamrock suffered the injury during training the day before the fight. Petruzelli knocked out Slice in 14 seconds. Before his bout against Slice, Petruzelli was recognized as a contestant on the television show The Ultimate Fighter season 2.¹

Though the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation has said there is no reason to question the validity of the fight's results, they are issuing a preliminary investigation into the fight.²
