Scott Kalitta Crash Video
Scott Kalitta was an NHRA funny car driver who died in a crash while attempting to qualify at the Super Nationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in New Jersey on June 21, 2008. The engine of his Toyota Solara burst into flames while the vehicle was traveling at over 300 miles per hour, and then crashed into the end of the track. Kalitta was taken to an area hospital and died of his injuries.1
