Any vegetable or meat pie served primarily as an entree can be considered a savory pie. The most common varieties are pot pies and shepherd's pie, though other recipes are common, including mince meat and quiche.

Pot Pies

International Variations

Though British in origin, savory pies have spread to other parts of the world and inspired experimentation, notably in the Spanish and Mexican cuisines.
