Saudis Increase Oil Output
On June 13, 2008, The New York Times reported that Saudi Arabia will increase its output of oil in July of 2008 by nearly a half-million barrels per day. In June, Saudi Arabia pumped 9.45 million barrels a day. If it produces 10 million barrels a day in July, it would be the kingdom's highest output ever.1
