Sarah McLachlan Breakup
Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan announced in
September 2008 that she is separating from her husband of 11 years,
Ashwin Sood.
McLachlan said two of the singles, "U Want Me 2" and "Don't Give Up on Us", from her fall 2008 album, Closer: The Best of Sarah McLachlan are about the breakup.1
