Sarah McLachlan
Canadian born singer and songwriter Sarah McLachlan began her successful music career in 1988. Since then she has earned three Grammy Awards, and sold over 35 million albums worldwide. McLachlan is the founder of Lilith Fair, a touring music festival that toured between 1997 and 1999 featuring female musicians.
In September 2008 she announced that she had separated from her husband of 11 years, Ashwin Sood. Sood is also the drummer in her band.1
