NORAD
The most popular Santa tracking site is through North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). They begin their countdown 24 days before Christmas with updates on what Santa and his elves are doing in preparation for the holiday. On Christmas Eve, the site allows Santa to be tracked around the world as he delivers gifts. NORAD teams up with the Google Earth application to allow a more realistic experience to share with your friends and family.2 In 2006, the NORAD Santa tracker received almost 1 billion web hits from 210 different countries.3 Google Earth works on Windows, OSX and Linux platforms.
