Roses are flowering shrubs that are usually found in the temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. Roses are often used in Landscaping and home beautification because of their aesthetic qualities and pleasing appearance. The Rose is one of the most popular flowers in the world, and has long been a symbol of love, desire, and friendship. As well as being a sacred symbol to the goddesses Isis and Aphrodite, the Rose is also often used as a symbol of the Virgin Mary.
