Robert Scoble is a blogger who first rose to fame while working for Microsoft as a Technical Evangelist. Since then, he has left Microsoft to work for PodTech.net, a video-podcast company. He is currently producing and staring in a video show for Fast Company magazine. Scoble is known for his interest in all things technology and has interviewed many industry leaders and visionaries. Generally considered the "nice guy" in the tech industry Scoble opens his life and experiences in several ways such as lifecasting, blogging and his video shows. He lives in Half Moon Bay, California with his children Patrick and Milan.

Issue with Facebook:

On January 3, 2008 Scoble, a long time Facebook advocate was blocked from the website for terms of use violation. The issue occurred when Scoble tested a new script from Plaxo that helped to export the contact information of his friend network. After a day his account was returned although his interest and discussion of Facebook has diminished since.
