Robert Kissel
Merrill Lynch investment banker Robert Kissel was drugged and bludgeoned to death on November 2, 2003. His wife Nancy Kissel was convicted and sentenced to life in prison in Hong Kong for the murder.

Nancy Kissel Appeal
Nancy Kissel began proceedings to appeal the conviction on April 14, 2008. She claims Robert Kissel was a violent cocaine addict who threatened her a baseball bat.
Kissel was beaten with a lead statue after his milkshake was spiked with a concoction of five prescription sedatives. The 2003 trial was dubbed as "The Milkshake Murder".3

The Two Mr. Kissels premiered on November 15, 2008, on Lifetime, and told the story behind the murders of the Kissel brothers. The movie starred Anson Mount as Robert Kissel and John Stamos as Andrew Kissel.
