Richard Widmark Dead

Guide Note: Actor Richard Widmark died on March 24, 2008 at his home in Roxbury, Connecticut. Reportedly he died of complications after a recent back injury. He is survived by his wife Susan Blanchard, who reported his death to the Los Angeles Times on March 26. In response to his death, numerous Hollywood legends who starred alongside Widmark throughout the years issued statements mourning his loss.
