Red Movie

Red is an American independent film that premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. The film's plot concerns a man who sets out for justice after three teenagers kill his dog. The film was originally being directed by Lucky McKee, but McKee was replaced by Trygve Allister Diesen.

About the Director

Diesen is a Norwegian director who studied film at USC. His first three films were all Norwegian. Red is the director's American film debut.

He lends respectability to a film that is, at its heart, pretty basic and even manipulative.
