Toasted Ravioli

Toasted ravioli is breaded, deep-fried, and usually served with marinara sauce. It is considered a St. Louis specialty. While allegedly invented at a restaurant called Angelo Oldani's on the Hill, Italian recipe books from the 1300s describe deep-fried ravioli.
