Rachel Hunter was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. Although she wanted to be a ballerina, the modeling industry lured her attention. By the age of 17, Hunter was appearing on the covers of Vogue and Cosmopolitan.

Do 'Ya Think I'm Sexy

In 1990 Rachel Hunter became the wife of legendary rock singer Rod Stewart, who was 24 years her senior. Stewart was once quoted as saying "I'd rather have my penis cut off than cheat on her." The couple had two children Renee (1992) and Liam (1994). During this time Hunter began appearing in the Sports Illustrated yearly swimsuit edition. Hunter and Stewart separated in 1999 but did not finalize their divorce until 2006 and it was said to have cost Stewart $66 million. Since the split it is she is rumored to have dated Bruce Willis, Kevin Costner and Tommy Lee.

Rachel Reality

Rachel Hunter has gone on to make her mark in reality television. She was a contestant on the first season of Dancing with the Stars, had her own series on WE Television titled Style Me With Rachel Hunter, hosted the U.K. version of Make Me A Supermodel, sat as a judge on the show Are You Hot, was a contestant on The Real Gilligan's Island and competed on the 2008 Celebrity Circus. Hunter spiked her popularity with a new generation when she appeared in the 2003 music video Stacy's Mom by Fountains of Wayne.

Model Citizen

Rachel Hunter is actively involved in several charity organizations such as the Born Free Foundation and she is the founder of the Rachel Hunter Lowland Gorilla Fund.
