Quid Pro Quo

Quid Pro Quo is an American independent film selected for the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. The film's plot concerns a paraplegic public radio reporter who researches a story about able-bodied people who secretly yearn to be paralyzed. Billed as a psychological thriller, the film follows the reporter, Isaac (played by Nick Stahl), as he's led into the depths of the bizarre subculture by a Fiona (Vera Farmiga), a beautiful woman with a mysterious agenda. One unique aspect of the film's cinematography is that much of the film is shot from the perspective of a wheelchair-bound protagonist, rather than the usual eye level.
