Presidential Polls 2008

In a November 3 CNN poll of polls, Barack Obama led rival John McCain by six percentage points, 51% to 44%.¹

Poll Results

National polls indicated Barack Obama would win both the popular vote and the electoral vote as of October 21, 2008. There were several states that still were considered to be swing states, including Florida, Ohio, Missouri and North Carolina.²
