Guide Note:Popular is an album by R&B singer Van Hunt. A four-track advance EP, The Popular Machine, was released on August 7, 2007. Originally expected to be released in full in February 2008 on Blue Note Records (following a split with Capitol), the record's status went into limbo as Hunt announced his severed ties with the label.
