Popobawa

Originating in Zanzibar, Popobawa is an urban legend (or an evil spirit, depending on one's perspective), comparable to Mexico's Chupacabra, or Poland's Baba Yaga, though with its own unique modus operandi. Popobawa is believed to be a male shapeshifter—an ordinary person during the day, but by night, becoming a winged sexual predator with a giant phallus. According to modern legend, he sexually molests men as they sleep, then threatens to return, unless the victims confess the experience in public.
