Plane Shoots Off Runway Madrid
A McDonnell Douglas MD-82 airplane swerved off the runway and crashed as it was taking off from an airport in Madrid, Spain on August 20, 2008. Reports say that a large column of smoke was seen rising from the crash site. The flight was Spanair Flight 5022.1
