Phil Plait
Phil Plait is an astronomer and writer. He currently runs the website BadAstronomy.com. On August 4, 2008, Plait became the President of the James Randi Educational Foundation.12

About
Dr. Philip Plait began investigating the skies at the age of 14 when he bought a 10-inch telescope. While attending the University of Virginia, Plait started the Bad Astronomy website, which he used to challenge various myths regarding astronomy. After finishing school, Plait worked for NASA on the Hubble Space Telescope. He then began working in the field of education before focusing on writing full time.3
