Peter MacNicol
Actor Peter MacNicol has appeared in numerous films and TV shows. He's currently a regular on both the mathematical mystery series Numb3rs and was a recurring character on the Fox action-drama 24. He won an Emmy in 2001 for his work as eccentric lawyer John Cage on Ally McBeal.

Career Overview
MacNicol started acting on the New York stage. His first film role was as amateur wizard Galen Bradwarden in the 1981 fantasy film, Dragonslayer. Other notable film credits include Sophie's Choice from the following year, Ghostbusters II, Addams Family Values and Bean.
MacNicol made the move to television in 1997, as a regular on Ally McBeal. In addition to his work on Numb3rs and 24, he also does voices for several animated series, including The Justice League, The Spectacular Spider-Man and Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, on which he plays X: The Eliminator.
