Paula Stark is an Illinois woman who claims to have secretly recorded conversations in which Drew Peterson made incriminating statements in regard to the disappearance of his wife Stacy Peterson, and in regard to the suspected murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio. Stark claims that both she and spouse Len Wawczak have known Peterson for sixteen years and have turned the recordings over to police.¹

Stark alleges that between November 2007 and June 2008, she and her husband wore wires during conversations with Peterson. During those conversations, the couple claim Peterson said that his plan was to be arrested, tried, and then acquitted before Stacy Peterson's body was discovered.¹
