Guide Note

Located on the Seine River in France, Paris is one of the most populated areas in Europe and the capital of France. Nicknamed "The City of Light," Paris inhabitants are known as "Parisans." Today, Paris is one of the world's leading business and cultural centers; its influence in politics, fashion, entertainment, media, and the arts all contribute to it being one of the world's major global cities.

Paris Climate

Paris is affected by the North Atlantic Current which gives it a oceanic climate. Snow in Paris is rare but does happen sometimes in the coldest months of the year, January and February. The city of light is known for sudden rain showers though so always bring your umbrella.
