  • CNet review Bonnie Cha had a generally favorable reaction to the phone. Given the features and the price, she suggest that this would be a great first smartphone for anyone who has never owned one before.
• Engadget: Palm Centro Review (Oct. 13, 2007)
  • Reviewer Josh Topolsky gave this phone a marginally negative review, citing a "sense of letdown" at the end of the review. He went through many of phone's UI features, as well as the buttons and their placement. He suggests that the price of the phone is it's biggest asset, but that power users will feel unsatisfied by the phone on the whole.

  • This review is very thorough, discussing nearly all of the phone's features in great detail. The review is marginally favorable; the reviewer liked the size and weight of the phone as well as the streamlined version of PalmOS, but calls it "yet another rehash of the Treo 600."

  • Working against a fair amount of prejudice, the Palm Centro eventually won over reviewer Wilson Rothman with it's small size, low price, and many long-awaited features on a Palm phone.

  • This review focuses on the business community, suggesting that users who have a good deal of business needs might be better off with another phone. On it's own merits, though, the Palm Centro got a fairly good reception.
