Investigation
Investigators found out that Birgfeld was married more than once. Her first husband, Ron Biegler was her high school sweetheart. A few months before her disappearance, she started dating Beigler again. Cell phone records show that she called Birgfeld and spoke briefly to him the night that she vanished.
Double Life
Birgfeld was leading a double life. Her friends and family did not know that she was also a high price escort named "Carrie". Before she gave birth to her children, she worked as a stripped at the Mile High Saloon and made about $400,000 a year.
Suspect
Investigators have reason to believe that one of her clients, Lester Ralph Jones could be linked to her disappearance, but they won't reveal too many details. Birgeld's car was found burning close to where Jones worked as a mechanic. Investigators searched Jones' home but would not reveal what they found.
