Pac-Man iPhone
On July 10, 2008, Namco Networks announced the release of Pac-Man for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The classic Namco title is available on Apple’s App Store; it can be purchased for $9.99.
To take advantage of the iPhone’s capabilities, Pac-Man iPhone offers three different control schemes. Players may opt to use the virtual d-pad, accelerometer-enabled tilt controls or interact with the touch screen directly.1
The original Pac-Man, also known as Pakku Man, made its debut in Japan on May 22, 1980.2 After making its way to America, its popularity grew rapidly and it eventually became a national sensation, spawning a television series and inspiring a hit single in the process. 3
