NFL Career
Osi Umenyiora was drafted by the Giants in 2003. In 2005, Umenyiora recorded a career-high 14.5 sacks and was selected to his first Pro Bowl. In 2007, he set a Giants franchise record with six sacks in one game. During Super Bowl XLII, Umenyiora had four tackles in a win against the New England Patriots.2
During the 2008 preseason, Umenyiora suffered a knee injury against the New York Jets. Umenyiora required season-ending surgery to repair ligament damage in his left knee.4
