Preview
The USC Trojans hoped to redeem themselves after a 27 to 21 loss to the unranked Oregon State Beavers on September 25, 2008. The loss to Oregon State was just the Trojans' sixth loss in the last 70 regular season games and dropped the team from first place in the AP and USA Today/Coaches polls. The Ducks were trying to move up as well, still reaming from their September 20, 2008, loss to the Boise State Broncos.1
