The winner of the ABC reality show Oprah's Big Give was Stephen Paletta. Paletta was crowned on the April 20, 2008 episode of the show. The program began with 10 contestants who came from vastly different backgrounds. They competed against one another to give away money to and help people in the most interesting and effective ways. Each week the contestant who made the least impact in a person's life was voted off the show. During the finale Paletta was chosen for all of his generosity and creativity. He received a million dollars.

Stephen Paletta

Stephen Paletta is a civil engineer and CEO of Renaissance Integrated Solutions. Even before the show he dedicated his life to the betterment of others. He created the non profit International Education Exchange and supports ten African orphans.
