Openmoko is a project founded by First International Computer. The company has created a smartphone platform using open-source technology. Because it uses open-source technology, the phone is very customizable. It is predicted to be more popular among programmers.1
The Neo Base, Neo Advanced and Neo FreeRunner packages were designed specifically to use OpenMoko software.2
