Oklahoma Exit Polls
Oklahoma carried 7 electoral votes in the election of the next President of the United States. After the polls closed, MSNBC and CNN called the state for John McCain. The same polls indicate that Republican incumbent U.S. Senator James Inhofe has won a third term.1
Based on absentee balloting, Oklahomans set record voter turnout, with the Secretary of State estimating 1.5 million voters.2
