Okami Wallpaper

This Mahalo page contains wallpapers from the video game, Okami. Okami is an Action-Adventure RPG for the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 2. It has been widely acclaimed for its unique visual style, which combines cel shading techniques with traditional Japanese art.

On April 2, 2008, Capcom launched a site called Okami Art, which contains a large collection of concept art, backgrounds, wallpapers and fan art. Also available on the site is a book for purchase called Okami: Official Complete Works.

Okami was developed by Clover Studio for the PlayStation 2, and then ported over to the Wii by Ready at Dawn Studios. It was released for PS2 on September 19, 2006, and for the Nintendo Wii on April 15, 2008.

The game revolves around Okami Amaterasu, a sun goddess who has assumed the form of a white wolf. Amaterasu travels around Japan, restoring the land from darkness. To do this, players use a "celestial brush" to paint objects and element onto the screen and into gameplay.
