Norman Podhoretz was the editor-in-chief of Commentary Magazine from 1960 to 1995. He is regarded as a key thinker within the neoconservative movement.¹ Podhoretz was also the chief foreign policy advisor for former republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani.
