Bosses

• Having fought these type of enemies earlier in the game, you should already know what to expect. Using certain magical abilities such as the Art of the Piercing Void Ninpo as well as striking the head repeatedly will allow you to take them down quickly. Be aware that as their life decreases, they will start to glow and their attacks will become much more erratic.

• He has the ability to shoot long-range fireballs and summon additional enemies. Be cautious when confronting him as he is prone to performing a devastating grab move. There is a visible, but brief initiation of this that comes in the form of a charge so be sure to watch out for it and dodge accordingly. Levitation is also usually a clear sign of another attack in which he will suddenly shoot up to the roof and barrel down on Ryu. He can now also fire a concentrated heat beam from his chest.

• As soon as the battle starts, Volf will send his horsemen towards you. Each of them will be armed with polearms which they can use to impale you. They can easily be dispersed if you’re using the scythe though. Charge it up and release it once they have all concentrated into a tight bunch. Using an offensive magical ability also works just fine in this case. Also, when engaging Volf, try not to get caught in his air combo.
