Nibbling Fish Pedicures Banned

Pedicure procedure involving fish that feed on dead human skin was recognized as unsafe and banned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.¹

Susan Stanford, the department's spokeswoman, said they were concerned about sanitary conditions inside the tanks that hold the fish, and about the possibility of infections traveling between multiple clients.²
