Nibbling Fish Pedicures Banned
Pedicure procedure involving fish that feed on dead human skin was recognized as unsafe and banned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.1
Susan Stanford, the department's spokeswoman, said they were concerned about sanitary conditions inside the tanks that hold the fish, and about the possibility of infections traveling between multiple clients.2
