Newegg is a technology company that specializes in the distribution of technology products. Currently, Newegg only ships to buyers in the United States and China.
History
Newegg.com was founded in 2001 and was marketed to the "do-it-yourself" computer builders and upgraders. In 2005, it was named one of the top 10 e-commerce websites and later became one of the most trusted online technology product websites. In 2007, Newegg launched a new service named EggXpert, which allows people that purchased the product to document their experiences and comments on the product for other potential customers to read.
Other Companies
Chiefvalue is also billed under the Newegg name and recently launched Neweggmall.com, which sells other products besides computer components has also recently launched in order to grow even larger.
