New Mexico Exit Polls
Democrat Barack Obama has won New Mexico's five electoral votes.1 Obama maintained a substantial lead in the polls over Republican rival John McCain in a state that went for George W. Bush in the 2004 presidential election. Democratic candidate Tom Udall was heavily favored to win his Senate race, and he is now the winner of that race. The three Democrats running for House seats in the state were all victorious.2
