New Hampshire
New Hampshire, the 9th state in the Union, is located in New England and is bordered by Quebec, Canada, Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts. It is primarily made up of individuals of French Canadian, French, Irish, English, Italian, German and Scottish descent.
New Hampshire was one of the original thirteen colonies that revolted against British rule during the American Revolution.
New Hampshire was also the first state to have its own constitution and is the only state to not have general sales tax and personal tax.
