Net Gun

Guide Note:A net gun is an air-powered net launcher that shoots netting over a target. Net guns are traditionally used to humanely trap small birds as well as large game animals for tagging, research, and rescue purposes. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has classified the net gun as a "tool," rather than a "firearm," and a model tailored for law enforcement use in riot control is reportedly under development.
A net gun was used in the season three premiere of MTV's reality show Rob and Big as a possible way to nab unwanted intruders.
