Neo FreeRunner
Neo FreeRunner is the latest touchscreen smartphone designed for use with Openmoko, Inc.'s proprietary open-source mobile operating system. Unlike its predecessor, the Neo 1973, the FreeRunner was designed with consumers as well as software developers in mind.

Production Glasnost
The preceding Openmoko smartphone model, the Neo 1973, was only available bundled with software development tools.4 It was only distributed to software developers.4 The FreeRunner is an update of the Neo 1973, and is available to all consumers.2
