Navajo Code Talkers Association
The Navajo Code Talkers Association is the official organization of the Native Americans who helped develop a military code based on the Navajo language. The Navajo code was used in radio transmissions during World War II. The native un-written Navajo language was only understood by less than 30 non-Navajos during WWII. Over 400 Navajo men used the secretive language to defeat Japanese troops between 1942 and 1945.1
