Nate Lee is the husband of the deceased
Denise Lee. She was kidnapped, raped and murdered on January 17, 2008.
Michael Lee King has been arrested and charged with the crime.
In an exclusive interview with ABC Action News on February 14, 2008, Lee explained how he gets through each day without his wife.
He recounted in the interview the experience arriving home to find his two sons, two years and six months, all by themselves. He knew something was wrong, because she would never leave her boys alone.
The outpouring of love he has received from so many has helped to ease the pain he felt at the loss of his wife.
Nate Lee and his lawyer Thomas Marryott announced that they will be filing a lawsuit against Charlotte County Sheriff’s Department in Florida because they feel that the 911 cell center made a mistake by not passing on the info called into them which contributed to the death of Denise Lee.
Michael Lee King pleaded not guilty in court for the murder.
