Rapper Nas arrived at the 2008 Grammys wearing a shirt that had the N-word printed across the chest. He was accompanied by his wife Kelis and 3 women who were also wearing the similar shirts. His controversial upcoming album, entitled N*****, was released on April 22, 2008. The Reverend Jesse Jackson criticized Nas for the title of the album, saying: "Nas has the right to degrade and denigrate in the name of free speech, but there is no honor in it."
