Naked Cowboy Arrested
New York City's famous Naked Cowboy, Robert Burck, was arrested on Friday, July 25, 2008, in San Francisco while singing in his underwear. Known in New York as a famous Times Square performer, the cowboy was arrested for violating rules posted in Union Square that do not allow soliciting and playing an instrument. According to Burck, the cops were laughing hysterically when they got back to the station because of his outfit. Burck was scheduled to appear in a San Francisco court on Monday, July 28, 2008.1
