NPR

National Public Radio (NPR) is a non-profit membership organization and receives its funding through membership fees, corporate sponsorship, donations and in-house fundraising.

NPR was founded in 1970 and is one of the largest producers and distributors of commercial free news, entertainment programs and talk radio. It services over 750 radio stations. It is the company's goal to reach coverage in every part of the United States. WFMU radio in New Jersey had spent over $400 million in legal fees to fight NPR over territorial conflicts.

NPR also broadcasts two of the most listened to radio programs: Morning Edition and All Things Considered. It is regarded as one of the most trusted radio broadcast news networks in the United States.
