- Ryan Getzlaf scores on a great pass by Jovanovski
- NASH with the hat trick - sick backhanded flip goal over Thomas's glove - wow what a goal
- Hossa delights the hometown fans by scoring the goal that regains the lead for the East
- Dion Phaneuf scores in front to tie the game
- Great end-to-end action with both teams getting great opportunities down the middle of the rink - but both goalies finding their legs now
- West outshooting East 9-1 this period, 29-9 since start of 2nd period
- Big save by Thomas to stop another Western scoring chance
- Halfway through the period - and the teams are being more deliberate in the offensive zones
- Gaborik scores to give the West the lead on a beautiful pass by Sedin from "Gretzky's Office" (a.k.a. - behind the goal)
- Great breakaway chance for the East denied by Legace
- Terrific tying goal by Eric Staal - great give-and-go with Kovalchuk
