NFL Tour is a football game from Electronic Arts developed by EA Tiburon for the Xbox 360 and PS3. It was considered to be an alternative to the Madden NFL series by featuring easier gameplay and different game features. The 2007 version featured San Diego Chargers defender Shawne Merriman on the cover (he was selected following a three-way tie in fan voting). ESPN anchorman Trey Wingo is the commentator. The game received below-average reviews from video game critics, many of whom believed that the game was not designed for console play, but was better suited for the arcade platform.
