Morgan le Fay

Guide Note
Morgan le Fay is a character from Arthurian Legend who is most commonly and enemy to King Arthur. Initial versions of her character portray her as a fairy or a simple healer, but later Medieval variations reinvent her as a human woman who is a powerful sorceress and often wages war against Camelot. Many tales describe her as Arthur's half-sister, and she is also sometimes mother to Mordred.

Besides her typical role as supernatural enemy, she is often described as one of the four supernatural women who bear a mortally-wounded Arthur to the Isle of Avalon after the Battle of Camlann.
