Montana Exit Polls
Though Barack Obama has already been confirmed as the President-Elect, John McCain currently leads by two to three points in the polls for Montana's three electoral votes, though the state is considered a toss up by many analysts, with Barack Obama gaining ground in the hours up to the election and about 4% of voters saying they will vote for Ron Paul.1 2 Legislatively, Montana has elected more Democrats than Republicans in recent years but the state has not gone for the Democratic presidential candidate since Bill Clinton in 1992. Barack Obama has campaigned in the state five times, while McCain has campaigned zero times.3
